Hitman Reborn

Ok, Hitman Reborn has 200+ episodes but believe me each episode is crazy and worth watching this anime gives you the ultimate roller-coaster ride from the start till the end.

Hitman reborn in Japan is known as Katekyo Hitman Reborn! A story about the journey of a young boy Tsuna Sawada is the next in his family to become a powerful mafia boss.

An infant with a gun, named Reborn, is sent to teach Tsuna how to be a boss.
Reborn! Was one of the best-selling manga series, but it is the most underrated anime series out there.

Among my favorite anime, Dororo is the best underrated anime show I’ve ever watched.
This anime shows you the history of Japan’s darkest period Sengoku-era with mythology.

The story starts with a samurai lord Daigo Kagemiysu, who renounces Buddha to make a deal with the devil, his prayer is answered by 12 demons who granted him wealth and power but took something in return. When Daigo’s first son was born he has no eyes, nose, limbs not even skin.

The baby boy was disposed of in the river but saved by a medicine man who provides him with prosthetics which were built with weapons it will allow him to survive and defend himself.

There are 24 episodes in this underrated anime show you can watch.

Rage of Bahamut

Is Rage Of Bahamut is good underrated anime that is worth your attention, With a very unique world where gods, humans, and demons come together to fight a winged demon named Bahamut who threatened to destroy the land but gods, demons, and humans all came together to fight him and sealed his power, and the key was split in two and given to gods and demons so that Bahamut can never be released.

After 2000 years, a girl named Amira appears with the gods’ half of the key, searching for her mother with the help of bounty hunters Favaro Leone and Kaisar Lidfard. The quest is part of an epic battle between humans, gods, and demons, between those who want to revive Bahamut and those who want it to die.

Overall it offers you a unique setting with an interesting story which makes it best underrated anime series you can watch.

I wished Noragami continued man but being a good underrated anime series they stopped after 2nd season, this is what happens when good anime shows don’t get much popularity, does that mean you should not watch this series? Bro, you better watch it

Noragami is one of the best-underrated anime series with a unique story about a self-proclaimed god name Yato, and his dreams of having millions of worshippers, he spends his day working odd jobs for those who worship him and for 5 yen apiece.

Noragami has everything from comedy to action, a special place on my list will always go this anime. I hope season 3 comes back someday, or you can read the manga after season 2, just like I did.

Mushi-shi follows the travels of a man named Ginko in a slow-paced anthology series. The world is inhabited by a kind of ethereal spirit called Mushi that interacts with humans. The Mushi can be seen by Ginko, and he makes it his occupation to help those suffering from their negative effects.

There isn’t much of an overarching plot, and instead, the series focuses on the lives of the people Ginko helps. Rather than action and suspense, the show focuses on animation and small-scale storytelling, which allows fans to thoroughly enjoy the show.

Golden Kamuy

Ok before starting let me tell you I never finished this anime does that mean it is not good? No, because I am watching too many animes at the same time. It is one of the anime that I never finished yet. But it is good underrated anime that people need to know about. So, I am just going to discuss the plot.

Golden Kamuy is a story about a hunt for gold belonging to the indigenous Ainu people of northern Japan. The characters travel through prison cells, Ainu kotan, company towns, and barren wilderness in early twentieth-century Hokkaido in search of the gold hoard.

It’s a fantastic underrated series with great characters which makes it worth watching and yes I am going to finish this series.

Hinamatsuri is by far one of the best comedy anime series out there.

The story of Neeta’s misadventures with Hina got quite a bit of traction when it aired a year back but the popularity it got was a bit less than what it actually deserved given how funny the show is and how witty it is as a comedy.

I think Hinamatsuri is a show that would be great to recommend to anyone who craved some quick laughs the show is strong in terms of writing their characters, comedy, and character reactions all come together to make this one of the best-underrated comedy anime series.

Yona Of The Dawn

Akatsuki no Yona known as Yona of a dawn can be described as a princess in her coming-of-age story born as the sole heir to the throne her sheltered life of luxury quickly takes a downturn at the murder of her father.

Barely escaping with her childhood friend Yona life turns upside down as she sees firsthand the real state of the kingdom her request to reclaim the throne won’t be easy but it will certainly be a dramatic and grand opener.

I don’t think the series is a really overlooked or underrated anime show it does have quite a nice fanbase back in 2014 but you’ve got to remember that 2014 was also the year of big animes like Tokyo Ghoul, Parasyte, and many more.

But however, I certainly didn’t see a lot of people talking about Akatsuki No Yona relative to what I actually think it deserves visually stunning with an extremely engaging plot. This show in my opinion is one of the best underrated anime series everyone deserves to at least sit-down and take a look at.

Rainbow (2010)

Now, where do I start with Rainbow, not a lot of shows deal with the dark side of the justice system of the world, and among them I think Rainbow is one of the most cynical and downright ones in terms of showing how messed up the world can be.

I can vouch for this series because it’s not afraid to go down and dirty in its depictions of social injustice and the nature of criminal justice. The storyline of this show is one of the most serious I have ever seen in an anime.

Moribito: Guardian Of The Spirit

Ok, this series is a completely underrated anime masterpiece in storytelling.
Sometimes a movie or TV show comes along and affirms your worldview, and while that may sound dangerous like an echo chamber, it can be just the opposite if you see the world in a different way.

If you, for example, enjoy violent media but know it’s ravaging your soul, and simultaneously believe that violence is not inherent to the human condition. Such an idea is not often expressed in popular culture, and that’s part of what makes Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit so very special to me.

The story moves along at a nice steady pace throughout the series, and although it slows down occasionally, these are the times when the majority of the character development takes place. Although the story at times seems a bit like stock fantasy, there are enough differences as well as great character development, sound, and animation to make watching this great underrated series worthwhile.
